Motivation

Do what you do best
by Phil Wiley

One:

With your web based business ( just as in the rest of your life ), you've got to focus on what you're good at. Unless you do just stumble along making nothing but small change, or even worse, you'll fail altogether.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Two:

You're reading this newsletter because you are interested in Internet marketing and making money on the web.

And - with a lot of hard work - you'll probably succeed.

But you're going to find it a whole lot easier and quicker if you concentrate on what you're good at.

If you work hard at what ever it is that you do best.

And, importantly, you've got to stop thinking of the web as one giant marketplace. One swarming, heaving mass of people.

You've got to remember that you're approaching each person individually. You've got to talk directly and personally to them.

Three:

Find your own niche. Don't just follow what everyone else is doing, follow your own interests.

Come on, what really, really interests you? Baseball, football, reading horror? Butterflys, eating, golf, beer? Spiders? Ancient history?

Spanking? Sleeping? Serial Killers?

Whatever it is, you're not alone. Remember that.

There are thousands and thousands of people with the same interest or obsession as you.

Follow your passions and build a site to cater to those passions. Build the best site you can, grow it and nurture it. Fill it with content, turn it into a community for like-minded people.

And surely success will come your way.
