Letter from
Phil
by the time you get this I'll be sitting under
a palm tree on a tropical beach, and reading a good novel between
leisurely swims in the ocean.
Here's a picture of the place we're going.
As you can see, it's in the middle of nowhere
on the Queensland coast, a long way from the nearest city. The climate
is much like Hawaii and we're going to make the most of it.
We've rented a beach house, well it's on cliffs above the beach,
and though I'm taking my laptop to do some work, there's no phone
...which means I'm going to be offline for 10 days, so I won't be
able to answer your emails. Sorry!
Here's one of the
barrier reef islands, just offshore from the house.
We're going snorkeling here and
swimming with the giant turtles.

Now why am I showing you these pictures?
To make you jealous? Nope, it's to point out that
I'm living the almost mythical "internet marketer" lifestyle
which only freedom and money can bring. If you'd like to read more
about achieving this kind of lifestyle take a look at two of my
newsletters from a couple of months ago - issue227
and 228 written in Europe recently.

More on Traffic Dynamo....
Last week I told you about the special 3 day deal
I'd struck with Joe Chapius, to get you a big discount on his Traffic
Dynamo software.
Well, due to the fact that Joe's checkout process
was too confusing for most of you (and me) I've managed to talk
him into extending the
discount until next Wednesday. So you've got three more days to
make your mind up about it.
Read
my review from last week here,
or, if you're impatient, you can jump straight
to Joe's Traffic Dynamo
site and you'll find a simple explanation of how to order.
Remember, if you want the discount you need to
use the code wiley30.
Also remember, that while it might get you tons
of targeted visitors, it uses fairly advanced techniques and in
my opinion it's not suitable
for beginners.

EasySEO and Microsite
Miracles.
A week ago I wrote about Jay Stockwell's low cost
EasySEO reverse engineering
software, and recommended the software, but not Jay's manual
which is offered on the same site. You can read what I said about
the software here.
I said that Jay still needed to do some additional
work on the special report/manual, Microsite
Miracles.
Well he's obviously a fast mover, because he's
done it, and it's made a big difference.
You'll now find it fascinating. And, however advanced
you are, you're bound to pick up some search engine tips and ideas
from it.
Originally Jay just provided you with a single
real world case study, detailing how he got his one page site to
the top of Google.
But after Allan Gardyne and myself suggested he
add more proof that his techniques work, he got to work and added
another chapter called "More Proof" which has more case
studies.
At the end of the report, Microsite
Miracles, you'll find a special bonus.
If you're at all interested in learning how to
get mini sites (or
Micro sites, or even single web pages) to the top of Google and
other search engines, Microsite
Miracles is now a must read.

Is it time to start doing....? Too many ebooks....?
Don't fall into the trap of buying ebook after
ebook and never following up on what you learn.
Here’s the rub: the vast majority of people
buying ebooks, reports, tutorials, never ever take action on what
they learn.
And I bet many of them never even properly study
the books they buy.
Lot's of people just like the idea of making money,
but they NEVER do anything about it.
Hope you're not one of these people who never
manage to get anything done, but whether you are or not, try this
little
All you’ve got to do is be different, and
also be yourself, if that makes sense.
It takes time, and it takes work, but think of
something that really interests you, or that you’re good at.
I know nothing about you, so I can’t even
guess what you’re good at….but say you’re a good
artist…look at selling art related stuff.
If you’re a good gardener go with that.
Or maybe you’re passionate about sky diving?
Whatever it is ..here’s what to do.
1. find a product you can sell relating to your
interest or knowledge.
2. Find where people with similar interests hang
out on the net. …discussion groups, forums, chat rooms, etc.
3. Start befriending these people, asking and
answering questions in the forum/discussion.
4. Gradually become a “name” there.
5. When you eventually release a product of your
own you will already have willing buyers who have grown to like
and trust you enough to do business with you.
Having posed the question "too many ebooks?"
and answered it by saying maybe it's time to start taking action
on what you are learning, I'd also like to say that....you can NEVER
stop your business education.
Every successful online entrepreneur that I know
doesn't just produce products of their own, they continue to read
the best ebooks and reports around.
How do they know which one's to read and which
ones to ignore?
Well, like you do, they read reviews in ezines
like this by people whose judgment they've come to trust. They also
receive a lot of ebooks and reports for review, and can tell within
minutes whether it's worth devoting time to studying.
I know I write about a lot of books here, but
believe me I only mention the best of them.
So here's a quick mention of one before I go on
vacation. It's for anyone struggling to make an online income (hope
you're not one of them).
The Book of Steve...
If your online business isn't going the way you
planned (you did plan it didn't you?) The
Book of Steve could be a ideal Christmas present for yourself.
Steve was just like you, until Len Thurmond took
him by the hand, and over a 1 year period worked with him by email
to develop an
online business.
Actually the full title is ..."The
Book of Steve", A Case Study of the Education of An Entrepreneur.
Len says "I believe it will help countless
people who are struggling to make a living on the Net." And
after reading it I believe he's right... but there's no time for
a full review here.
That Internet Lifestyle is calling. I've got to
go.
