Letter from Phil...

we don't get many clouds in this part of Australia (there's usually just a vast blue sky) but when we do, many of them seem to drift through our windows. Today though we were looking down on them...very strange feeling. Here's a cloud from this morning drifting past the bottom of the garden.

Anyway, let's move on to helping you make some internet profits...

I've been sniffing around the Instant Dough affiliate program for a few days, trying to decide whether to join it and write about it here.

Come on, it's got such a seedy sounding name that I'm bound to be hesitant. With a name like that it's bound to be a piece of over-hyped spammy garbage.

But actually I can 't find anything wrong with it. Just the contrary. I think it will make you some money.

It's only called Instant Dough because you get paid straightaway via Paypal. The main product is decent (a daily expired domain list..and I'm a sucker for expired domains, buying around 1 a week for future mini sites).

Joining Instant Dough just for the domain name list would make it too expensive at $29 a month - there are cheaper domain lists available. But it's the potential affiliate profits side that's got me intrigued.

It's only single tier, but it's residual monthly income.

You get $20 instantly for every signup (via Paypal). Plus another $20 for every month they stay a member.

There's no hype, no downlines, no matrixes. It's just a straight affiliate program paying 68% commissions.

At $29 a month it's a high priced product, but it could be very worthwhile in commissions. So I'd only recommended it if you're confident of being able to make at least 1 or 2 sales.

Join Instant Dough here

Brand New Affiliate Program
Ecover Generator Software

At last someone's come up with software to help automate making ebook covers. Ebook Generator

If you're selling digital products you'll find that your sales will jump with a good cover image. This new (windows only) software makes ebook covers, 2-Sided Boxes and 3-Sides boxes very quickly without you needing any design skills.

Here's my first test image

While it's not as good as a professionally created cover, please bear in mind that it only took me around 1 minute without reading a word of the manual. I'm sure that after a few attempts the result will improve tremendously.

Here's a better image that my friend Angela Smith from homeworkingmom made this morning.

There are 44 ready to use templates available, but you can also create your own image templates and colors from scratch.

I just used one from the ready to use selection and added text. Next time I'm going to work on it for 5 minutes and see if it's 5 times better.

Right now there's an introductory special offer, but I think it's ending today (Sunday) so I hope you're not too late.

(also comes with a 2-tier affiliate program you'll probably find useful to join)

Internet Success In Five Lines!

Neil Shearing wrote this little piece in his newsletter yesterday:

People often say to me, "I've read huge amounts, I'm overwhelmed...just
tell me what to do!"

OK, here goes.

_______________________

The "Internet Success" Five Line Plan...

I: Create a great digital product (ebook/software)
II: Start selling. (use ClickBank if you're lazy) ;-)
III: Repeat with second and third digital products.
IV: Start an associate program (Clickbank again)
V: Pay associates 50% of any sales.

That's it. Honestly!

Neil knows what he's talking about. He's the author of Yahoo Exposed, which I mentioned a few weeks ago, and quite a few other great books.

Neil's report / ebook (Windows only) isn't just a book, it's a follow-the-steps blueprint to being listed in Yahoo. And best of all it's only $19 with a great money back guarantee if it doesn't work for you. Though after reading Yahoo Exposed I don't see how you can fail.

You can get it, or read more here

A daily boot to the head

Do you want an online business or are you just playing at it?

It's your choice. You can do what you want with your life, waste all the time you want. You can treat the Internet like another form of TV. It can even be a substitute for a social life.

But you're reading this newsletter, so the odds are that you'd like to build an online income.

The problem is that it's just so easy to waste whole days on the web. Time drifts by and you never achieve anything. You log on, fully intending to promote your site, and you quickly get sidetracked.

Or maybe you wake up on a Saturday morning, with a few hours set aside for working the web, and you just can't get yourself going. You know what you have to do, but you just don't feel motivated.

If you're a bit like this, and I know I am, then take a look at the Promote-Ivator, from Mark Joyner's Roibot stable.

When it first came out a year ago, Mark said to me that "people are already going absolutely nuts over this thing. It's only been out for a few days, but the response is astounding."

Basically it's a small window that sits on your Windows desktop, and helps stimulate you into action by helping you achieve your goals. It comes with a daily tip called "a boot to the head", a built in referral system, an "achieve your goal" to-do list, and best of all a very active discussion group of motivated
Promote-Ivator users.

And all for just $6 a year. The price of just one pint of Guinness here in Australia. I'm using Promote-Ivator daily to help boost me into action.

Bits and Bytes

The new ways people come up with to profit from affiliate programs
sometimes amazes me.

Take a look at The Nutshell Toolbar for instance.

It's a free Windows Internet Explorer toolbar that makes it easier to access the search engines of Google, Amazon, Dictionary.com, the Internet Movie Database, and Daypop. Instead of having to navigate to the site and type your query into their search engine, you can do it quickly from any IE browser.

The creator makes money when users search Amazon. His affiliate
code is embedded in the search.

Want to donate your affiliate commissions to a good cause?

GiveQuick's directory allows website owners to earmark their
commissions to the nonprofit of their choice (or to a randomly
selected nonprofit in there directory).
